Best Flat Irons and Hair Straighteners of 2007
CurlytoStraight.com announces the winners of the best hair straighteners of 2007.
The standards used to decide this "Best Of" list are; customer support, consumer reviews, reliability and product features. This review will not cover every class of hair straightener available. Just the top tier products were examined and cost was not taken into account.
The following reviews are based solely on product quality, consumer feed back and features. This doesn't consider cost.
1) The FHI Runway Series - This line of hair straightener is easily the finest on the market. These hair straighteners offer every cutting edge capability; lightening fast heat time, 450F max temp, adjustable heat, revolutionary heating plates, damp-or-dry styling and the most consistent plate heating of any product. The Runway models also have the best user feed back of any the products that we reviewed. If you want the most effective and best hair straighteners out there this is certainly it, and they are experience. These straighteners usually around $400.
Is it really worth the money? Yes, if you can afford it.
2) The FHI Platform Series - As pioneers in the progress of tourmaline integration and ceramic plating, The Platform series offers consumers a first-class hair straightener at a much more affordable price.
Available for purchase in various sizes, the Platform series provides PTFC ceramic heat plates, 450F max heat, adjustable temperature and ultra flash heat times.
While the Platform Series is more affordable than the FHI Runway series, they're still expensive at around $150 - $200.
3) CHI Pink Series - The stylish pink straightener offers consumers the very best performance and reliability of any straightener in the Farouk CHI product line.
Flash heat times, ceramic plates, and temperature control combined with a comfortable and ergonomical handle make the CHI ceramic flat iron an excellent choice for anybody that wants the most out of their hair.
4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - In actuality, this flat iron has a rank that is above the CHI Pink series in product features, but it dropped to fourth place because customers have had trouble with returns on the warranty. Aside from that, this model provides consumers with a sturdy ceramic design.
5) CHI Turbo Series - The Turbo series takes fifth place in our hair straightener review. This flat iron line is used by more hair styling professionals than any other model. And although its flash heating and maximum temperature are not as good as the CHI Pink, the CHI Turbo series is an attractive option for anybody who wants top-notch performance and dependability.
Honorable Mention
While our 2007 Hair Straightener review lists the creme de la creme, there are many other quality, professionally designed flat irons and straighteners on the market. The following are a few:
GHD Hair Straighteners - An excellent product with a sleek and polished design merging an assortment of cutting edge features makes the GHD hair straightener a wonderful option.
HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI hair straighteners have a couple of excellent offerings at prices you can afford; the Convertible and the Nu Stik. FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series offers a Best in Class product for the traditional models. The FHI flat iron is a quality product with many of the new millennium technologies.
*One of the most popular models out there, the sedu hair straighteners, was not reviewed because of the non-competitive, exclusive internet distribution agreement and what seems to be misleading sales practices.
